How a Full Roof Replacement Works
We tear the old roof off all the way down to the deck. That's the only way to see what's underneath.
Then we check the decking for rot and soft spots. Any rotted decking gets replaced before the new roof goes on. Skipping that step is how a brand new roof ends up with problems a year later.
On shingle roofs we use ring shank nails, which hold better than smooth nails when the wind picks up.
We pull the permit in our own name and schedule the city's final inspection, so you don't have to deal with the paperwork.
